You are bidding on a partially assembled 1955 Chevrolet model 210 two door post Pro-Street project car. This car has been garaged and not licensed since 1972. The body and frame are well on their way with many new and used parts. Most of the difficult and dirty work is completed on this one. I have posted a detailed description as follows: BODY:Some dents. Little rust. The body has been stripped to bare metal, 1 coat of Evercoat brand Buff color polyester (2 part) high build "G-2" primer on it. This BODY is a sound body with very little rust but it will require basic body work. The ROCKER PANELS are good and will not require work. The front FLOOR pans and transmission tunnel have been replaced. The body is TUBBED and solid, but the trunk floor sheet metal, (from where the wheel tubs end), will need to be completed. The underside of the body and all of the trunk area and the interior area has been cleaned and primed with red oxide primer. There is a new tail pan piece welded in place. The DOORS are in very good/solid condition and they will not require any metal replacement. They will require a minimal amount of body work. All of the door window, wing window, and door latch mechanism are all present. Part of the rear panels have been eliminated because of the tubs. The (2)HOODS are in good condition and will require a minimal amount of body work. One hood is in better condition than the other, but both hoods are in good enough condition to be used. The latch and hinge mechanisms are there and in good condition. The front fenders and the three front splash pan pieces are all in good condition, they will require a minimal amount of body work. The FRONT FENDERS are drilled for Bel Air trim. The trim holes will need to be filled. The hinges are tight, (also sand blasted), and appear to all be in excellent condition I am presently in the process of mounting the body on the frame, I will post photos of the body on the frame in the next couple of days.This car comes with a Clean Washington title. FRAME:The frame is set up with a 4 bar rear suspension configuration with Art Morrison coil over rear shocks, panhard bar, and a narrowed 9" Ford rear end. The front frame clip is from a 1975 Camaro, which now gives the car power disc front brakes, side motor mounts, transmission rear mount, a power steering sector box, and front anti-sway bar. The frame components are either new or in like new condition. The entire frame and it's components have been primed, filled, and sanded. The frame and it's components were then sprayed with catylized acrylic enamel, (Cortez Silver), then sprayed with two coats of clear urethane. Also included, is the 1975 Camaro tilt steering column, steering wheel, and ignition w/key.. WHEELS/TIRES: 2 ea New 15" x 4" "Cragar Dragstar style" 5 spoke polished aluminum rims and lugs 2 ea like new 15" x 4" tires 2 ea New 15" x 10" "Crager Dragstar style" 5 spoke polished aluminum rims and lugs 2 ea Used 15" x 11" Slicks MOTOR:This car comes with an unassembled 4 bolt main 383 +.040 Stroker motor. All machine work including block notching, align boring, balancing, decking, and .040 overbore has been done. It has .040 pistons and new Hastings .040 chrome moly piston rings and new Clevite main and rod bearings. It includes a steel stroker crankshaft. The cylinder heads are fresh 2.02/1.60, 64cc combustion chamber double hump heads with casting number 3890482 A117. These heads have new valve guides, stainless steel intake and exhaust valves, new springs, aluminum roller rocker arms w/locks, (the rocker arms are used but excellent condition). It comes with a Comp Cams part #12-213-3 292 degree hydraulic flat tappet camshaft and new hydraulic SSI brand part# 817 HP hydraulic lifters. Included are both a Performer brand Noisy Gear Drive and a new Cloyes double roller timing set up. Also included with the motor is a 6 quart "T" oil pan and a high volume oil pump. Also included is a set of new moly pushrods, a new Holley HP mech fuel pump part# 37-754, an assortment of new Victor premium gaskets, plasti-gauge and a bottle of Clevite assembly lube. It also comes with a new set of chrome plated 3/4 length headers, reducers, gaskets, and all required hardware.
