Replica/Kit Makes : Shelby AC Cobra / Hunter AC Cobra 427 Shelby AC Cobra 427 Replica Kit Car Hunter 96″ Roller, PROJECT No- motor/trans Picture(s) and Description:

This is an unfinished kit car, not a real cobra, built by Hunter Cobra Kits cars. Car is still on the MCO " Manufacturers Certificate of Origin" That means it has never been titled, and car has never been finished, is a "2001" build date from Hunter. You take the MCO to to the DMV to get your title and tags when the car is complete. I have the MCO for the car in my possession, there is no lien on the car. So the car has never had a motor or transmission, has not been driven, is still under construction, and needs to be finished. This is the extended wheel base 96" car, it is also deeper and wider than the "orginal" AC Cobra cars, ideal for wide and tall drivers that dont fit so well in small cars (like myself !). Also has a larger driver side foot "well" for big feet. Car is fiberglass, chassis is hand fabricated square and rectangular tube. Car is also altogether larger than a standard dimension AC Cobra. I was told by the gentleman that ordered the car from Hunter that it was built for a big block Ford, either FE 427 428, or Lima 429 460. I bought it a couple years back when I was bored and had nothing to do, I am now busy with other projects and dont have time to play with it, and have since moved and lost my finished shop to work in to complicate things. Click on the link below if you want to know more about the car, this is the web address for the company that built it. http://hunterscobrakits.homestead.com/Our_Products.html This car has been painted, black with silver stripes and clear coated. Suspension is 84-87 Corvette Front and Rear Independent suspension. The finish while is not 100% perfect is very, very nice, for a black car. Prep and Paint on the car from a friend in the biz was $7k alone. Please do not bid on this car without coming and inspecting first. The images provided, are from the listing from which I bought the car about 3 years ago. Car is dusty/dirty from sitting in storage. Its in a tin building with a concrete floor, has never sat outside, and except for the dust, is exactly as shown in the pics in this listing. I would wash it, and take new pics, but the car is buried behind other vehicles and I dont want to dig it out if it does not have a buyer. Otherwise I would have used my own / new pics. This car has not been touched since I bought it, Ive done nothing to it, and it has sustained no damage while in my possession, other than getting "dusty". Available for pickup only, I will not ship it. If you send a truck with trailer after this, I will assit your driver in loading it, or if you come after it your self, I will assist in loading it. I will also wash it down when it comes out of storage if you'd like, so you can do a "fine comb" inspection of the body/paint work to see that it is as shown in the pics. A car cover is included in the purchase, but I did not get it on the car before it got dusty, so I never put it on, for fear of scratching it. Also, I forgot to mention the Bilsteins are new, as well the dana 44 IRS rear was rebuilt. Since I listed the car on ebay, the gentleman that bought the car originally caught this listing and sent me a note, the car is set up for a big block ford FE or LIMA, so it will run a 427 428 429 or 460, or you can put whatever your heart desires in it, after all it is under construction ! I just relisted this car, because the images went away due to running out of band with (photobucket) , Ive never had that happen before, so I went to a pay site and re-hosted the images, and Im starting over. Sorry for the technical snafu, a couple too many folks have visited this listing. Please ask any questions before bidding, and please inspect the car before bidding, I dont want anyone "surprised" if they win without looking first. Thanks for the interest and bids, KB.
